Get Imprinted is the official uniform provider for First Academy-Leesburg. Uniform shirts and P.E. uniforms may be ordered by phone, or online at http://www.getimprintedonline.com/FAOnlineSchoolStore.htm.
Turnaround time for orders is approximately two weeks. Get Imprinted will ship your order, or you may pick them up in Eustis at 15012 US Hwy. 441. Their phone number is (352)343-3699. Sample shirts are in the office for sizing.
Plaid skirts, shorts, pants, and plain sweaters and jackets may be purchased through Lands End. To order, call (800)469-2222, or go to www.landsend.com/school. All shirts must be embroidered with the FA logo through Get Imprinted.
DRESS CODE
Research has demonstrated that a reasonable correlation exists between a student’s dress and his/her behavior. When students dress in a very casual manner, they tend to be more uninhibited in their behavior. Since the intensity of the teaching/learning transaction requires a seriousness of purpose, it is most conducive to learning when a student's dress reflects a classroom atmosphere of instructional relationships and authority for learning. Students are expected to be in dress code upon arrival to the school campus.
Tops: ES & MS: Polo shirts must be embroidered with the FA logo in white, navy, light blue, hunter green, pale yellow, and light pink. HS: Solid color polo shirts of any color must be embroidered with the FAHS logo.
Jackets, sweatshirts and button-down cardigan sweaters must be solid navy or white. Jackets worn to and from school, but not in the classroom, may be any color. It is recommended that students have a jacket or sweater to keep in their locker for classroom wear.
Shirts (long & short sleeved) worn under the uniform shirt must be solid navy or white.
Bottoms: ES: Bottoms must be tan khaki, navy or black. In addition, elementary students may wear blue denim jeans or shorts. Jeans must be traditional fit and style: five pocket, straight-leg. No low riders or hip hugger styles.
MS & HS: Bottoms must be tan khaki, navy or black.
1. Uniform or dress cargo style shorts, skorts, or capris with flat pockets, no low-rise waist lines, no shorter than 4" above the knee as measured from floor in a kneeling position. Colors for skirts may also include hunter/classic navy plaid.
2. Skirts and jumpers may not contain slits in the front, and the skirt or slit (side or back) may be no more than 4" from the top of the knee.
3. Uniform style slacks may also be worn in tan khaki, navy or black.
4. Belts must be worn in the loops when belt loops are on a garment. Otherwise, a belt should not be worn.
