As I begin my eighth year teaching at First Academy, I am so excited about the 2010-2011 school year! I know that God has many plans for me personally and this awesome third grade class. I consider it a blessing to be able to teach this class of third graders. I know that God has entrusted me with an important task.

    Prior to teaching at First Academy, I taught for five years in public school. I then took ten years off to have and raise my three children. When I decided to return to the classroom in 2003, I knew that God wanted me in a Christian school. I feel blessed to have the freedom to share Christ freely and teach His word.
