My name is Louis A. Miraglia.  I live in Leesburg, Florida with my wife, Wanda.  We have been married 41 years and have 7 children and 14 grandchildren. 

My educational background is as follows:

Associate of Arts Degree from Corning Community College, Corning, NY (1960)

Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mansfield University with majors in History and English, Mansfield, PA (1968)

Masters of Education, History, from Mansfield University (1970)

New York State Permanent Certification in Social Studies

12 Graduate Hours, Black Studies Institute from Columbia University, New York, NY (1972-1973)

45 Total Hours of Graduate Work beyond Masters Degree

State of Florida Professional Educator's Certificate: Social Science (2003)

40 Hours at Bolles School for Advanced Placement in US. History (2004)

I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force (Intelligence) and have over 40 years of teaching experience in the states of New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida.  My Educational Activities and Accomplishments, among many others, are:  I helped start and was first advisor of the "Academic All-Stars"; was a former School Board member of the Corning Christian Academy; began and became advisor of the Debate Club at First Academy, and earned my Certificate of Advanced Placement by taking 40 hours AP in U.S. History at the Bolles School
