Kindergarten... the fun of learning awaits us!
I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach another year of Kindergarten at First Academy. Our year together will be packed full of learning and lots of laughter. I am anticipating a year full of great experiences as your child grows academically. I am excited about our new Math and Writing Curriculum which will help promote such growth.
On a personal note, I am celebrating my 14th year of marriage to an incredibly supportive husband and we have been given the gift of two beautiful blessings, Emma and Griffin. Emma is in 6th grade this year at First Academy and Griffin is in 1st grade. I love being at school with both of my children. My "mommy hat" does not come off and on because now, instead of just my 2 children to play, learn and grow with, I have the priviledge of investing my time in 21 other lives as I teach another year of Kindergarten.
I began teaching at First Academy in 1996 after graduating from Palm Beach Atlantic University where I received a degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. I taught 5th grade until taking my maternity leave in 1999.
I am looking forward to creating new memories this year with a new class and new experiences. May God send his riches blessings on this upcoming school year!
