I am very excited to join the family at First Academy! This is my fifth year teaching. I have taught in the Lake County School System for four years, including teaching fourth grade for three years. Fourth grade is my favorite age group, and I am ecstatic about being able to teach my favorite grade level again this year! I started praying about teaching at First Academy early last year, and was honored to be welcomed on staff at such a great school.
I have been married for eleven years and have been blessed with three precious sons, ages 8, 5, and 2. I recently graduated with my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I feel strongly that my counseling skills assist me greatly in teaching. I believe in living out Christ’s example in the classroom. The children must be guided in truth with wisdom, discipled in their Christian walk, and be shown mercy and grace.
