Hi there! 

Let me introduce myself. My name is Joy Price and I am the art teacher here at First Academy. It is a position I am thrilled to have and I am looking forward to many happy years here. This will be my first year at this school, but I have many years of experience as an art teacher. For the last four years I have taught art at Blue Lake Academy, a Christian school in Eustis, FL and prior to that I was the Art Education Director and  Executive Co-Chair of the Mount Dora Center for the Arts.  I have also taught art at Umatilla Elementary School and taught many after school art programs in various locations. Last year I volunteered to be the Youth Arts Superintendant for the Lake County Fair.

I was educated in London, England and obtained my degree from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in Technical and Pictorial Illustration. I am passionate about Christ, my dear sweet family, and of course my adorable art students!
